Post-acute intensive rehabilitation

The Intensive Rehabilitation Department is characterized by intensive evaluative and therapeutic interventions in the so-called "immediate post-acute phase," when rehabilitative intervention can positively influence the processes underlying recovery, containing and reducing the extent of impairment, and when disability is most modifiable. This phase is aimed at recovering significant, modifiable disabilities that require a high level of specialized medical diagnostic and rehabilitative therapeutic commitment in terms of complexity and daily intervention duration, approximately equivalent to at least three hours of specific therapy per day, delivered directly by rehabilitation healthcare professionals.

  • Neuromotor Rehabilitation

  • Occupational Therapy
